All welding current sources provide transistor regulation of the direct current at the secondary terminals. The measuring of the direct current is done by a precision resistor located directly at the output stage of the secondary terminals. Through use of the transistor regulated direct current a very quick regulating behaviour is realized and a very quick switch-off of the welding current is possible.
